Loved having those this past weekend and I need to carry my own around so not to burden others with yelling!
I tried a few general searches but came up empty. TIA!!

The Chatterbox has a lot of cool features, but the weakpoint is the "student" headset. Folks tend to pull it out of their helmets by the microphone boom which more often than not breaks the wires inside the boom.
If you are handy, it can usually be repaired or you can buy a new heaset for around $35. That is one of the advantages of the Chatterbox - you can replace the individual components and not have to replace the whole thing like on the Nady.
The other thing I like about the Chatterbox is the helmet mounting of both the rechargable unit and the instructor's headset.
That said, one of my students (not at an ACCCC event) did manage to snap the wires by pulling out his headset without first pulling his helmet aside. It took about 10 minutes to solder in a new wire and I'm back in business. I "uparmored" the assembley with a bit of epoxy - we'll see if that helps.
FWIW, if you have a Chatterbox mounted in your helmet and I'm your instructor, I carry an extension cord so you can plug-in directly.
All-in-all, I would love it if a better system was available, but I don't know of one yet.
