I was just using that as an example...the fact is the tint itself is reason enuf to pull you over...
I haven't been stopped in my A6 yet....but have been stopped b4 in other vehicles......
Mostly the type of car you drive has a direct correlation on whether or not you're gonna get stopped for the window tint.....
My neighbor drives a Honda Civic, black with tinted windows and he gets stopped all the time...or so he tells me...;-)
That speeding issue also may come into play moos...lol!!

You can be ticketed (I've been ticketed) or stopped (in theory)...
... hard to believe anybody gets stopped for tint who isn't "really" being stopped for some other reason... including being a little to "tinted" (if ya know what I mean) in a city full of white a$$hole cops...

Tried to get my windows tinted by this guy, but got the run around. Not sure if this is a side job for them or not. I'm calling Shaded Days like I should have in the first place, seems like they do a good job.

I'm a LLumar dealer. LLumar does not have a warranty form that states a 20 yr warranty. Is this a personal warranty? As a dealer of quality window film mfrs,Including LLumar, In all honesty, I dont believe any automotive window film will last, in its original quality or appearance for 20 years. Think about it, that would be like saying your paint would have a 20 yr guaranty, or your interior would have a 20 yr guaranty. If the film I put on your car looks worse than your car, I expect to replace it, because my name is on it, reguardless of mfrs. warranty. Are you going to own that car for 20 years? If not, why do you need a false 20 year warranty?

20 year warranty? Show me an official warranty form that says 20 yrs. Do you think you are going to own this car for 20 years? Has he been in buisness for 20 years? Do you think he will be in business 20 years form now? I have been in business for almost 20 years and my business thrives on repeat customers. You don't need a warranty when you deal with me. I'm sure you can get your windows tinted for less money than what shaded days charges. To stay in buisness requires certain dollars. You can't undercut and buy the work and stay in business. Thats why we are still here. And will continue to be here to serve you!
