I'd just send in the first one with a request for traffic school so it wont appear on your record. For the second one you can go to court yourself and request supervision, the first ticket may not be in their records by then but they will probably ask you if you've gotten any other tickets lately and its not wise to lie in court. You would probably get supervision if you ask but if you want to be safe get a lawer for the second one. Either way though make sure you send in the traffic school request on that first ticket ASAP as there is a time limit on doing that.

The dates are the same. I'm going to send in both and say I'm going to court for them. Otherwise, I could just send both in for traffic school and go twice.

and they may go through without them noticing. The reason I'd say send one in and get a lawyer for the second is because having two tickets in court at the same time looks worse to the judge and lawyers normally charge per-ticket and it would be cheaper to only need a lawyer for one ticket.
