The highlight of the day for me was the parade laps around the track - obviously we didn't go very fast, but 50-70 mph was enough for a little fun in the rain - we just didn't slow down much for the turns. ;-) Watching the truck in front of me (big GMC Sierra) was a trip - from the way he took one of the turns, I could tell he'd raced the track before, but he was having a little fun with his truck and 5 passengers - several times he stepped the rear of his truck way out with the throttle. :-)

Sorry for the poor image quality - I have a very cheap digital camera. :-/

Despite the crappy weather the turnout was great (even though there were a few that stayed home). It was great to meet some fellow Audi enthusiasts that I haven't had the pleasure to hang out with before. The Parade Laps were fun and depending on which car you got behind you were able to get a couple quick sprints down the front straight and then throw it into some of the turns taking the curbs like a touring car was fun.
