Considered profanity by whom? Profanity is typically defined by community standards.
I find it hard to believe that this community, which uses acronyms like WTF, FYYFF, GTFO, etc. on a daily basis, would find anything very offensive about a little kid giving the finger at a soccer match.

Personally, I think that's silly, but it is certainly within AW's purvue.
Okay, so where's the line at which point things will be moderated? There doesn't seem to be much in the way of consistency or even clarity.
