Default Any independent sunglass/optical stores in Orlando? Looking for Serengeti sunglasses.

Lexotica owns all of the chain stores, so for obvious reasons they don't carry their competitor's full line.

Default Website says that Sunglass Hut carries them. 2 of those at Seminole town center and 3 at Altamonte

mall.

Default ^^^ Owned by Lexotica (Ray-Ban, Maui Jim, Revo etc).

I laughed when the Sun Glass Hut manager told me Serengeti doesn't make polarized sunglasses.

Default

They sell them on their website. Seems like you're wrong to me.

Default Sunglass Hut is an authorized distributor.

Maybe you were unlucky enough to go to the one with the brain-dead manager. The only other authorized dealer, according to Serengeti's web site, is an optometrist named Carl Gaterbaum off 423 below Sand Lake Rd.

Default I can't try them on if they're on the website only ;-) They only carry the low-end ones in store.

Basically they don't carry a lot of Serengeti because they make more money on the brands they own.

I found a pair at 20/20 eyeglass world.

Default I tried my Columbia's on at my daughter's Optometrist's office. Then I ordered them online for $150

less than her price. ;-)

Default

I'm tired of polarized lenses; can't see crap in my car's displays or phone/laptop screens.

Default Never buy from the mall....I always find Maui/Ray Ban/etc for MUCH cheaper online.

The glasses that Breeze and I have are Maui Jims that are $270 at Sunglass Hut, and I picked them both up online for $189 each. The website was something like "Zbestsunglasses" or "z-bestsunglasses".
