I have never contested a speeding ticket but this one is just bull ****..
the cops were taking advantage of the fact that the flow of traffic exceeded the speed limit..
the signs themselves were temporary ones and the one on my side of the road was hidden by a palm tree.

There is no law against police officers "taking advantage" of the fact that everyone is exceeding the speed limit. Keeping up with the "flow" of traffic is no defense - though it's routinely tried. It goes kind of like this...
Officer: I clocked the Defendant @ 75mph in a 55mph zone.
Judge to Defendant: How fast were you going?
Defendant: I don't know, I was just keeping up with the flow of traffic.
Judge: I find you guilty, guilty, guilty!
You could potentially argue that a traffic sign was not visible. A video is usually helpful in such cases. It won't help if you were tagged exceding known limits...like if your speed was 90mph.

I was doing 60 he said I was doing 65..
I was on the expressway which I thought the speed limit was 55 he said it was 50 add that all up and you get a$180 ticket..
I went back around later in the day to look for the speed limit sign and saw it behind the palm tree, and about 1000ft away the other sign that said 60MPH

I'm not quite sure of the facts...Let's get them down to one sentence. You were doing 65 in a 50 zone that had a hidden temporary 50mph limit sign...What is the normally posted speed in that area (if there were no temporary speed limit signs)?
If you could convince a judge that the sign was hidden, you might be able to get the fine knocked down. Maybe. Might depend on how long the sign has been there and your familiarity with the area.
Of course, if you get a judge that had something unpleasant to eat that day and have a bad traffic record, you might get anything up to the max fine ($500?), court costs and suspension/revokation of your d/l. That's what all the fine print on the ticket means...
But...you can't win if you don't play.
No sure things in life...except death and taxes, of course.

option a: pay $70-90 for a lawyer who may get you off
option b: take it to court then plead no contest if the cop shows up and goto traffic school w/o any points... traffic school online...

Many lawyers make a living by playing a game with the traffic courts. It's their game, not ours. We're not players; they are. By receiving a speeding ticket, we've just been put into play.
A good lawyer will plead not guilty for you, and postpone trial dates and hope that the arresting officer doesn't appear for your trial. If he does, hope that he's forgotten details of the stop (you were polite to the officer, I hope) and/or can't produce calibration records for the radar gun. He may make a hundred stops a month, so if your trial is postponed for months, and the stop was uneventful, it's likely that the officer's memory won't be clear regarding this particular stop.
Many traffic specialist lawyers in south Florida charge $60 to $100 (for 10 mph over -- I think that their rates increase with speed over the limit) and usually guarantee that your license won't get points. (Mine will refund his fee if points are awarded.) Often they'll plead it down to court costs and a small fine.
These people got my laser detected 35 mph in a 25 mph speeding ticket in Hallandale dismissed. How? I have no idea. As I said, it's their game, not ours. I recommend them:
Somera & Associates PA
tel (561) 338-3795
7300 W Camino Real
Boca Raton, FL 33433
Legal assistant Brian Somera is the guy who wrote up my case. Michael and his wife are the attorneys. They charged me $60 (which seems low). They were recommended by my insurance agent, who's got a teenage daughter with a heavy foot.
