Default Anyone used Shokan for used parts?

I broke my upper interior B-pillars when I removed my headliner (actually, I didn't break them, they disintigrated as I was trying to remove them). Shokan wants $45 each.

Default I've bought a number of things from them (reman calipers, steering rack, trim pieces, etc)

I've never had a bad experience with them, although I have noticed their prices have crept up in the past few years. $90 seems a bit high, but, I guess your options are somewhat limited to junkyard pulls and someone parting out a car, which will likely yield the same broken b-pillars. There's a set listed on ebay right now, however, I don't know if these are what you're looking for. If you can't them anywhere else, I'd say go for it. Good luck!

b-pillar ebay

Default so that must make them fine to order with. enuf said...

nice reasoning

If you search the forum archives... you'll find the following...

shokan having...
expensive pricing
sending out parts that they say is test, but not.
sending motors out that they sayed are timed, but are not.

here is one example that I had a few years ago, another guy posted his experience with them

https://forums.audiworld.com/v8/msgs/85975.phtml</a

Default so two experiences is the end all? searching the forums will show a much greater response

to shokan's issues including their ****ty customer service.

Default don't turn this into another ECS drama story jon, if it bothers you that much

where tom goes for parts, by all means, start bashing shokan, not really a huge deal for me

again, read what i said, i just told him about my experience, not for everyone to go out and use shokan as a used parts source.

Default just telling about prior experiences

you posted that two good responses was good enough to order from, that why I said STFA

you wanna be fudged over by expensive used part dealer, be my guess, I'd just rather not see someone get shafted like I did. Chris at force 5 auto is good. Ask rudich, he knows him.
