<font color="red"><big><b>Audi Club Florida // December Update</b></big></font>
This December we have a very busy schedule of events, and most importantly we are hosting a charity go-karting day in Ft. Lauderdale for JAY Children's ministries. This children's outreach program builds leadership, healthy development and good citizenship for kids and young adults in high-risk neighborhoods. Read more about this incredible program at <a href="http://www.audiclubfl.com/jay.htm"> http://www.audiclubfl.com/jay.htm</a>. Please come out on Sunday the 5th and help us support this worthy cause. We need 20 club members to come out to host this event. Details can be found on the events page of our website (see link below).
<b>In this update:</b>
- Central Florida Monthly Meeting
- Men of Destiny - Charity Go-Karting Day - 12/05/2004 in Ft. Lauderdale
- Audi Club Florida Holiday Party in Orlando
- Audi Club Purchase and Referral Program
- Audi Club Track Day - Gainesville - February 2005
- South Florida VW/Audi Get Together #13: 2/19/2005
For more information on the December events, please visit the Audi Club website events page at <a href="http://www.audiclubfl.com/events_index.asp"> Audi Club Events Page</a>.
Other news bits:
<b>November's annual Challenge Rally results </b>- Audi club members take 2nd and 3rd place: Congrats to Mike Hadley in taking second overall place in the challenge rally. He achieved this victory in a bone stock A6 Avant that fared quite well against the BMW and Porsche competition.
<b>Shakeup at Audi:</b> Axel Mees, VP of Audi of America, was fired last week amidst controversy over some remarks he made about Audi's parent company: <a href="https://www.audiworld.com/news/04/mees/"> "Mees mouths off and states the obvious"</a>
Hope to see you all at the charity go-karting event and the holiday party this December!

This event is a big deal since John Studdard worked hard to get sponsorship from Speed Indoor Racing and CHampion Motorsports. In addtion, we think there will be 2 TV stations there to cover the event. We are going to look pretty weak if we only have 5 guys come out to help these kids....
