Default E36 M3 thoughts?

My car was declared totalled by the insurance company, so I am looking for a car. I have been considering an E36 M3. I realise this is an Audi board, But I realise you are also car guys, so what are some opinions?

Default I got one recently.

The Audi is superior in almost all aspects. The interior is nicer, seems like build quality is nicer, it's a lot more rare. But the M3 kicks *** in one regard. The weight balance (50/50), rear wheel drive, and adequate power makes it perfect for the track. There is also a lot more aftermarket goods since they are so popular.

Bottom line is, I wouldn't buy an M3 unless you do track or spirited driving. You will definitely lose a bit of luxury with the M3.

Beautiful car. I had a '97 before the Audi. Put a turbo and you will be spanking every Audi around.

Clicky for turbo
