Default Got my car back from the body shop w/ a big gap between the bumper/grill and hood...

Has anyone else had this problem, and how do I fix it? It seems to be a pretty common problem, but no one has posted how to fix it. The gap is much larger than before I got a new hood and front bumper/grill, but if I adjust the rubber washers under the hood lip, the hood won't line up w/ the sides. I really don't feel like taking it back to the body shop if it's something I can do myself.

Default there is adjustment screws on top of each of the bumper supports

see number 17 on this diagram... measure the gap on each side then adjust these support screws by that much with the bumper off, test fit the bumper afterwards.

http://www.vagcat.com/epc/cat/au/A4CA/2005/273/56/3606057/</a

Default I'm taking it back to the body shop.

Hopefully, they can figure it out. I'm assuming it is the bumper adjustment, so I'll bring that up.

Default also if the hood is up to much, look at the adjustments on the hood itself

but if the hood is alligned well with the fenders, I'd leave those alone and hit up the bumper supports
