Have you guys ever seen an external hard drive....
....that is just the case, meaning that you supply the HD, and that way you are only buying the case/power supply?
I want to get an external HD for backing up my Laptop, and wanted to use a HD I already have.

Never tried it but....
I have an external HP CDR case. I took the CDR out of it to put into a desktop. In theory the HD could be put into it and used. You'd just have to plug it into the laptop's parallel port. You can have it if you want. I'll be in Maitland on Wed. night and bring it down.
