Default probably slim to none...it will however make a great track/autocross only car...

I'd buy it as a second car. Looks fun as hell!

IIRC the specs, the Atom is a tad quicker isn't it? X-Bow is much better looking IMO.

the torque alone from a k04'd 2.0T would spank the Atom

Default EDIT- got the specs. On paper, the ATOM wins. Unless my math is wrong (very possible)

Ariel Atom
220 bhp@8600 rpm
196nM (about 144 ft/lb right?)
1,005 lbs.
~440 bhp/ton

X-Bow
220 hp
1500+ lbs.
~293 bhp/ton?
300hp option (assuming no weight gain)
~400 bhp/ton

Default I'd like to be able to buy it, or the atom sans expensive engine.

Import it as a rolling chassis ala Noble M2 and slap in my own power plant. Yamaha and Suzuki both make motorcycle engines that would do very well with that amount of weight. Or perhaps a junkyard Mitsu 4G63 with a slightly larger turbo to offset the iron block weight. Just about any 2.0L or smaller powerplant would fit in the chassis and it would greatly expand the market potential considering $10k or more of their pricetag is for the engine.

A donor motor and trans-dapt kit could have you racing for a lot less money.

where's the lb/ft per ton? (use APR's torque specs for K04)
