Horrible fuel mileage and CEL?
The car started getting terrible gas mileage ,and developed a CEL a few days ago, seems to run alright but it is just getting really bad gas mileage( in the low teens)
A bit of history the car has an intermittent CEL for about 6-8 months, the code comes back as a left bank catalyst out of range. Never had any issues with it, until the poor fuel mileage and a consistent CEL for about 5 days.
FWIW the small vacuum hose that plugs into the left side of the intake manifold on the front looks a bit frayed, but I can't really tell if is leaking. If it is this hose where does the other end terminate?
