Default horse power/boost question

What is the approximate horse power difference if someone is running 25 pounds of boost vs like 20. I have been running 25 for 8 months but my turbo died and plan on backin it off but I am still curious how much of a difference there will be. I probably couldn't tell by driving on the 2 different boost settings. right?

thanks.

Default unless you are running high octane fuel with lotssssa timing >:]

or if you have a really efficient turbo that flows a lot more air, like the garretts, at 10psi my 28rs makes more power then a K03/K04 @ 15-18psi

Default you may be running higher boost, but if your engine is not igniting

the fuel properly (running lean/rich, too little timing, too much timing) you will not make power efficiently. there are a lot of factors involved with running at peak performance.

Default I have the gt28rs turbo with all additional goodies. I just don't want to kill the car.

I also have the sps3 and want to put race gas in it. is it silly to put 109 in it increase the timing but leave the boost at 22ish?

Default ^^^ What he said... 15psi vs. 18 psi on K03 = more heat

now you're prolly running a diff turbo if you said you were running north of 20. A decently sized turbo like a GT28RS will see good power differences due to the volume of air that it puts out
