Default I found this great temporary brush on paint protection film...

Wish I had it while living in Florida for just that reason. I now use it when going on long trips. It's alot easier and faster to apply as well as cheaper than blue painters tape. Best part is, from a distance you cant tell it's on the car. Go to discoveryparts.com and ask about it. A 1/2 qt jug costs $50.00 but you'll get like 8 applications out of it.

Default Rain-X also makes a spray on clear film. Only problem is that it washes off in hard rain.

It's about $5/can and each application will last over a week (unless rained on).

Default Thanks guys, my biggest beef is having to keep washing the little buggers off

Just when I get it clean I seem to drive through an area where I just get pelted again. The front of the TT is like a magnet for 'em.

I may try the Rain-X stuff. See if that makes it easier to wash them off.

Default Ditto

I'm driving to Groveland today and I am definitely putting the front-end cover on. It's a PITA, but better than getting that mess all over my car. :-(

Default I just washed my car for the 2nd day in a row after returning from the drive this morning

Looked exactly the way it did yesterday before I washed it. Only difference? This damage was done in the span of 2 hours. lol
