Default This just in...Christian Long makes AutoWeek magazine.

They published a letter where he pans Maybach in favor of the A8 and slams the Phaeton. Nicely done!

Default Got it, famous boy. Nicely done. BTW...

my VW dealer is better equipped to handle Phateon customers than my Audi dealer ever was. At least through May of this year when I had my Audi.

Default My letter was edited...so it didn't perfect sense. Here's the full letter I sent in:

After reading your article on the Maybach, I am impressed with the luxurious accommodations and technology, but I think Benz has finally gone overboard. If I were a corporate executive looking to spend the money I screwed my company and employees out of, I would rather buy something that I would enjoy driving rather than riding in the back seat.

And the styling still looks to me as if Hyundai or Kia penned it...there is just not a single line or styling element that is interesting on that car. It's not ugly like the BMW 7 series, but the money I stole from my employees 401K should be spent on something better looking such as the Mercedes S class or the beautiful new Audi A8. And sorry VW, I will not be spending $70K on a Phaeton only to be forced to have my service performed at a lowly VW dealer....I must have my standards you know!

Default Sorry Mr. Enron, your coilpacks are on backorder, and your window regulators failed because of the

aftermaket window tint. Gotta love VW's service rep. Fortunately I have a good dealership to take my Mexican Audi to.
