Definately less dust then OEM.
Axxis is a popular pad replacement for BMW's and I never see anyone complaining about them.
Give Dave Z. a call (see link), he will tell you anything you want to know about brakes and point in you the right direction, very knowledgable buy.
I had Mintex Red, initial bite is worse then OEM, but much less dust. I had them on for about 20k miles and had no deposits and noticed no increased dust issues.
