It's politically incorrect but Miami is North Havana. I love Cuban people (we'll, I loved a few before I got married anyway) but I don't want to be assaulted with the culture.
That said, I'd kill for a decent arroz con pollo or a good Cuban sandwich.

Nothing wrong with Spanish, its just that life would be easier down there if you knew the language.

On I-75 between Naples and Fort Myers, for example, traffic often is pretty solid, so an accident can cause back-ups that last hours. Even without an accident, there are times "in season" when traffic slows to a crawl simply because it's so heavy. I know because I've dialed *FHP on my cell phone several times while stuck in that traffic, only to be told it's "normal" and there is no accident.
I-75 also is becoming congested by Sarasota because aside from Hwy 41, several miles west, I-75 is the only major north-south route & the whole area is growing like crazy. I believe that's also the case for Ft. Myers.
Where were the planners 10-20 years ago? Being usurped by developers, I guess.
