Default For those of you guys with black interiors

How bad is it during the summer months when you get in and the car has to cool down? You regret having dark interior?

I don't find it too much of a problem. I have the leather. I have 38% tint and I use a shade. The car cools down in a reasonable amount of time. Don't regret getting the black.

Default I hated my black interior in my 944.

Anytime parked in the sun, with 15% tint, all the black leather and stuff in the car was hot too the touch.

Default Its bad. I thought my ac wasnt working because it takes so long to cool down. Turns out its blowin

at 37 degrees. I even use sunshades, crack the windows the whole nine yards.

Good window tint helped a lot, and I still think the aesthetics are worth the trade off.

Default It does get hot if I don't put up my sunshade.

Black interior looks so good though. The heat issue isn't a big deal if you have decent tint and a sunshade.

If your car sits out long enough any color will get to the same temperature, black just does it quicker.

Default black cloth on onyx - no real problem

tint is done at 35% around. For my next car though (boxster s), I'll go with a lighter color interior - not b/c of the summer heat.. but just to have the contrast.

Default It gets hott

but then again, its not like it was cool in my old car with a tan interior. Parking in the shade is key.

Default Really damn hot!!!

Especially with black exterior/black leather interior. Even with dark tint and sunshades.
