Default Depends on what you're looking for

I wanted adjustability, so I bought H&R coilovers. I've had them for almost 40000 miles, no problems. Ride is a little harsh, but not too bad (I also have 18s). You could always do shocks and springs, but if you don't like the ride height, you're stuck. You might check ECS Tuning, they have a coilover conversion for shocks and springs.

Default my set up is perfect for everyday use.

Eibach eurosport springs and stock sport shocks. You can take my car for a spin if you want to see how it feels. This set up lowers the car a little lower than a stock S4, but it is not too low that you will scrape any imprefections in the road.

Some say you MUST change out the shocks to match the new springs, but I didn't and here I am with 69K miles on my car (50K of those with the lowered springs), and the stock sport shocks are still doing just fine.

Coilovers are a little extreme for what you are looking for, so just do the springs.

Default Is that the same spring that Shawn got a deal on through impex....

I'd try them if I can figure out who sells Eibach eurosport springs. I know that the dealership as a set of eibach's available, but not sure if those are the set that you referenced. I'll do some searching.

Eibachs are the same as the Audi accessory springs.

Default I have the same springs as Christian in my Jetta. The stock "sport" shocks went south right at 60k

But then, the Audi sport shocks are a bit stiffer.

Eibach will give you the best ride hands down. If you do swap out the shocks, go for the matched set from Eibach. I have Koni Yellows on mine, and while the adjustments are cool, anything over 25% stiff just totally over powers the springs.
