Who wants to help plan the Nov. Rally with me this weekend?
We need several volunteers to help up research and plan the rally route that we will be using for the Challenge Rally this November.
We have route that Shawn came up with that looks pretty good, now we just need a team to help me run the route once or twice so we can make the route directions, and come up with some trivia/stops/etc. I would like to run the route sometime this weekend…
If anyone wants to run the route this weekend, let me know. I am currently down to only 1 car (wifeâ€<sup>TM</sup>s car is at the dealer getting a ton of work done), so I need a volunteer to be the driver while myself and others document the route. In return for you service, the club will pick up the tab for some beer and wings afterwards.

I think at the rate gas prices are going, club should pay for gas... =)
But I'll go Christian.
One of the things I planned on doing to help the directional indicators at turns is getting some construction type marker flags.

( you know the ones they use to mark underground cables and the like)
Putting 3 or 4 in a row on the side of the road with the turn.
We could just go through and sticke a few in the ground and just leave them there. heck, they might even stay for a month or so...

I got an email back from the company that sells them...
6.50 a bundle of 100 2.5 x 3.5 inch solid color flags on 21" wire staffs. or they have larger 4 x 5 inch ones for $75 for 1000.
They also have the ability to do custom flags. So I responded to them about the possibility of doing a white flag with the club logo on it...

I'm talking about for the rally...Markers for the turns..
Not for the big flag that you want.
We could use these type of flags at other events too like sebring...
even if it's $120 for ones with our logo on it i think it'll be worth it...

no, we will give them directions and they will have to figure out the rally route.
Not as bad as the famous "count the number of left turns" rally we did 2 years ago with PCA, but more like our usual rallies with directions and hints.

Well just food for thought...
They got back to me and for a box of 1000 4" x 5" White survey Flags with the same logo as we have for the rear window stickers is only $99.00
