The womans 94 Jeep Grand Cherokee started sucking gas like a tank, need some advice
It needs a basic tune-up (plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, oil change), but what else is easy DIY stuff that I need to check out?
She's down almost 100 miles per tank, car doesn't feel any different through. I was thinking of dumping in a can of that fuel injector cleaner crap or something like that. Maybe just some Chevron Techroline? Or BFG if I can find it? What do you suggest (aside from getting rid of it. That will come sometime next year).

Engine temp sensor.........
If the engine temp sensor is sending a cold engine signal to the ECU, the Jeep will be running in cold start mode all the time. And in cold start mode, it dumps A LOT more fuel into the engine. The engine should be at a stoichiometric fuel ratio (14:1 I believe), but when the engine is in cold start mode, it is probably running more like 14:9(just a guess Ross), and running very rich. Check the exhaust pipe to see if her car is pumping out a lot of black smoke.

When my 92 s-10 blazer started sucking hugh amount of gas.
I had to change my central port injector (cpi). I had almost two inches of fuel in the cylinders. But thats a chevy. Your dealing with a jeep. I would first check your injectors.
