Default Word to the wise.... always have a spare tire that fits over big front brakes.

I blew a tire coming home last night near the airport near flite park. I hit a pot hole and blew the tire around midnight. Small hole on the side wall. Went to go get the spare and realized, **** this won't fit. Ended up getting a hold of dave and we used his spare 16 to put on the back wheel, and took the back 17 on the passenger side and put that on the front. This will be my darwin move of the year... not having a spare wheel that fits over my porsche calipers with 312mm rotors.

How come you didn't just put your spare on the back, instead of his?

Default I was going to do that, but figured a regular size wheel was better to drive on.

Plus the factory jack and tire wrench suck ***.

Default yeah, but you also have awd and an independent rear....

two things i'd kill for. well not kill, but you get the point!!!!!

my buddy that just picked one up didn't believe me that he didn't have a spare. the "saleman" just pointed to the boot and said "the spare is in there" when he bought it. then we checked one day a week later....

i'll trade my tire for your flat repair kit if you want

Default no room for it, well a TT doughnut fits...

but such are the sacrifices for awd and an independent rear suspension.
