Recently pulled apart my 2.3 NG and something got in at some point and marked up the pistons and head. I’m not worried about the head since it can be machined out but the pistons are another story. I can only find new 2.3 pistons for the later 7a 20v engines and not for my NG 10v engine. Would these pistons still clear in my 10v engine or would there be clearance problems. I’m also open to other ideas or solutions thanks.
