Default Mainly the Motronic system, which is far more advanced for the AAN.

Allows for overboost in short durations and also uses distributor-less ignition (aka coil pack).

The overboost feature, coil pack, and updated code allows for an extra 11hp (217hp vs 228hp) and 30lb-ft more torque (228lb-ft vs 258lb-ft). I believe the torque curve is also flatter due to the changes. Numbers are from memory, but should be close.
