Getting the trans back into the car today, everything was going well.
Get into the car to depress the clutch, pushing on it isn't hard, so I continue. Suddenly, *POP*
Seems as though since the trans wasn't flush with the engine, the clutch bearing fork gave too much, and the rod right through. Clutch fluid everywhere. Including my hair. That is annoying![Frown](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
By now, I'm jaded. This doesn't even **** me off anymore. I'm laughing.
Oh, and don't let your friend play with the broken slave cyl while you go inside to clean clutch fluid off of you...(motul 600 down the drain) because the boot will come off and it'll pour ALL over him :P
Photos: (faulty methinks. You can see where it sheered off)

we misaligned mine. It's much better now.
As I mentioned on the phone, I would highly recommend installing and aligning the slave and then connecting the hydraulic line. Be sure to bleed it.
BTW, how are you keeping all the brake fluid from draining out of the system?
