they are about the same...

APR seems smoother cuz it's weaker. For k03 chips GIAC gets my vote. As for turbo kits, APR wins hands down for smoothness.

interesting. what hp/torque specs are on the giac for an '00?

Also, i always hear about giac being updateable or flashloaded or something? whats that all about. Is giac switchable from the cruise control?

You need to go to AWE and APR's sites...

APR's EMCS is the one you use the cruise control to switch programs.
