Default Anyone know of nice places to live in/around Arlington/Shirlington/Alexandria

I've now decided that my current job in Old Town Alexandria is a good one for the long haul and my commute from Ashburn needs to come to end. With this said, i'd like to move closer to work with a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, with 2 parking spaces (one for my Audi). New Construction would be nice and so would walking distance to a metro.

I'm really just looking for ideas on where to start... don't know if anyone knows of some condo/townhouse projects going on that i could look into. I've reached out to a few agents, but they are "out for the holidays" so i was trying to get a jumpstart on this. TIA

Default Check around Del Ray.

My other recommendation is North Springfield. If you don't mind the 30min commute. There is also VRE from Backlick. In N. Springfield you can get a single family for about $480K plus (3bdrm/3bath/1 car garage). New construction in these areas (Arling/Shirlington/Old Town) are not too common and are geared towards condos and townhomes. Average pricing is $500K plus.

Check out the THs or condos on Eisenhower Ave. You'll be between 2 metro stops and min. to OT.

I'm not sure if I could live in such a blurry place. It's like nothing is in focus there.

I missed your original post on your new house, but that's not the Potomac Greens development, is it?
