Default Attorney emailed today.. Reckless case was heard today. Not too good but not too bad.

Quick facts:
94/65 reckless charge.
Prince William County.
$1000 fine, $600 of which is suspended (total $400 fine).
6 points if I get a VA drivers license anytime soon. Not sure on what they will send to Florida; I will be checking into this.

I have a chance to appeal to circuit court, however, my attorney said that we got a pretty lenient judge on traffic already.. And a circuit judge is not going to be more lenient without a cause (I have no explanation for speeding. Just speeding).

Lesson for the hour; don't speed in Virginia.

Do you mean PRINCE William County? They are pretty harsh in general...

Default You done well

I know a few others who have gone over 90 and gotten jail time. $400 isn't too bad and I *think* as long as you pay the fine, points don't transfer into non-neighboring states.

this was in 1995 or so, 100+ mph, cop said she had to go about 130 for about 6 miles to catch up to me on I-66, as she started form a stand still

Default well, it was a Maryland license...and the judge says to me (all mean and what not):

"I dont want to see or hear about you on any of my roads in VA. You are suspended for 6 months from driving in Virginia."

And I replied, "Well, how and I supposed to get home?"
