Hi,
Own Audi A4 Avant 2001 2.8. Third Audi and love them. Just got an estimate of $4600 from Audi to fix:1) Broken Tie Rod and Reallignment $520, 2) Replace two leaking motor mounts $991,3) Valve cover Oil Leak $1440, and 4) Timein Belt and Water Pump and Dampner $1700. Car has 96,000 miles and I am second owner. Bought it at 40,000 miles 3 years ago at same dealer. Have done all regular maintenance. They offered me $4000 for a trade in. Three months ago they offered me $7000 for a trade in. If I can get it fixed at a less expensive independent should I do that, or should I buy another car?
Any help would be appreciated.
