Autoy AutoWerke (or suggestion for a good Audi shop near DC)?
I recently brought my C5 A6 to my local mechanic to diagnose a belt noise and check engine light and he told me to take it to an Audi dealer because he didn't have the "special tools" (VAG?) needed to do troubleshooting on an Audi.
Of course, I want to avoid taking it to the dealer and getting ripped off. So, I'm looking for a good Audi shop in the area (the closer to Gaithersburg, MD the better).
In searching the web, I found a place called Autoy AutoWerke in Rockville which specializes in Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, and Porsche. Their website is http://www.autoy-autowerke.com/.
Has anyone here taken their car there? Or heard anything about them? Just wondering if it is a good, reputable shop with fair prices and competent mechanics.
Otherwise, I'm open to any other suggestions for a good (non-dealer) Audi shop in the area (as I said, the closer to Gaithersburg the better).
Thanks!
