Default Custom Exhaust Shop recommendation? Closer to Annapolis is better.

Am considering eliminating the rear mufflers on my allroad. Would need a shop to put nicely bent piping in with high quality tips.

Default Primarily a sport compact shop, but anybody have any experience with HPRacing in Glen Burnie

They claim to have experience with custom exhaust fabrication. They primarily use Aluminized Steel, but can do stainless. This wasn't the kind of shop I was envisioning. Any other suggestions?

HPRacing Exhaust Page

I saw a few nice exhausts come from MD Muffler on Rt.3...but that was 5+ years ago.

Default They don't want to do it. Recommended an off the shelf system...

Said if it were a Corvette or Mustang they could build a system for my exact preferences of sound, performance, etc. He readily admitted to not being experienced with Audi turbos and said he would rather skip than have me disappointed.

Default That's exactly what I told him.

Great minds think alike.

Default Didn't I just reply to your thread in the S4 forum?

We've done some nice work. I'm sure you'd want stainless piping, and we can find you some tips to finish it off. If you're interested, give Anand a hollar on Monday & we can work up an estimate.

FWIW though, a complete exhaust may be a better answer for you. Cost difference between that and modifying your OEM exhaust may not be as big as you think...
