Right, but if you are within the warranty period, and HAVE to use them for svc. in order to keep
said warranty, you don't really have much of a choice.
Envoy/Endeavour/Axiom platform...ok, makes sense. Probably be a bit more robust, and that warranty is much better than the 3-4 year one my friend had.
As for GM parts...over the last few months I've helped a friend pull off a number of major projects on his Camaro, and in terms of dealer-only tools, and huge markup, they make our cars look very reasonable to maintain.

I have no idea what you just said. I'm not worried about maintenance when I only have to change
the oil every 3-5k until it hits 100k. everything else is handing over the key to a dealer and drive the loaner until it's done with a $0 balance on the invoice.
