Thanks for doing this, count me in to support the effort. I have Alzheimer's running in the family genes, (we've lost 6, in the last 20 years)I personally know how tough it is for both the afflicted and there families.

You can guilt out other people all you want, but you're not speaking for anyone other than yourself.
Yes, my mother was in a nursing home with Alzheimers for eight years before pneumonia mercifully took her. The last few years she was bedridden, couldn't speak, and didn't recognize me most of the time, if at all. And we won't even go into the episodes before she went into the nursing home when she didn't recognize my father and me and accused us of holding her against her will. So don't you even dare lecture to me!
Every time I forget someone's name, I wonder if I'm going to have it.
Humor helps. I don't believe for a moment that any of these people would be cruel or insensitive to someone with Alzheimers. And jokes about forgetting what you were talking about have nothing to do with the real symptoms of the disease. They're a little bit of relief from seeing someone you love suffer through it.
WARNING! If you are so sensitive that humor isn't cathartic for you, don't read any further.
The nice thing about having Alzheimers is that you can hide your own Easter eggs.

however, I do also think that easter egg joke is hilarious :-D sounds like something I'd do to myself if I had it.
