CNN and TLC too
The CNN channel was stuck on the Chinese or North Korean conflict. And the TLC channel was stuck on the "What Not To Wear" screen.
I looked at the bottom of the screen of, as I have dubbed her, the Bride of Frankenstein and saw the Redskins and Titans score. That was back on October 15th!

Overheated. Known issue and there is a "campaign" (read: recall) on this particular issue...
Basically, not knowing the full details of the part, the e-diff has two plates (one for each wheel) and a center clutch that engages and dis-engages the plates when necessary.
Well, there is a known issue and recall on the part. Apparently this car has not had it done yet. The control valve on the e-diff gets stuck in one position and only allows one side of the diff (one plate) to engage/dis-engage. The other plate is left open and over-heats. I was lucky that the plate that was working was the outside-rear on the clock-wise track.
Ferrari is picking up the car today and performing about 6 "campaigns" on the car. It's a very early '05 model and apparently there are issues. Regardless, the car was a beast. The caveat was that when the e-diff got hot it put the car in "ice" mode and I had ZERO power coming out of turns. I had to wait until the car was straight and the rpms were up to about 6k before it gave me power. BUT, the 2nd session on Sat was perfect, no issues, and the car was a freakin' MACHINE.
