Default They are known to snap...

... it's pretty much a consumable item you replace every 1-2 years.

Which reminds me... I need to put that on the list for this winter.

Ha, I thought of that beforehand and wrapped it to the velcro hand strap.

Default Jody sayz...

"<i>There is no need for apology. You handled the car very well in that split second snap of the ball joint. The ride you gave me on Saturday was much more memorable than running off mid-roller coaster. :-) The ride of a lifetime!</i>"

She bum'd a smoke from me after she came back from riding with you Saturday...

Default Let the sh*t-slinging begin!

Didn't get to meet/chat with you this weekend, even though I was in the same garage a good amount of the time...in the red A6. Next time.

I bummed a few rides this time around (didn't get any my first event-VIR April '06)...including Jim in his 944 racer, awesome. Maybe next time you can show me what an e36 can do and what Eric does wong...I mean wrong. :P

Default Tony, you can clean them off.

Use a wire brush or sandpaper and have at it. It will remove most all deposits and shouldnt vibrate on the street.

Too bad I can only get cheap rotors for the rear... no generic rotors avail (at least from my sources) for front.

Keep me updated.

Default I tried an 80 grit pad between 3rd & 4th sessions to no avail...

I think I'll take the whiz-wheel to them this week and see how it goes...and try to keep the new ones for the DEs. I'll let you know.

Also, any idea what the pad mat'l thickness was on a new set of XP12s? I'll measure mine, compare, and report back...and also see if they had biased wear (inner v. outer).
