I think you can just plug and tuck the hoses away (not cut them out), and pull the compressor and condensor that attaches to the deck lid. I hear it removes a good fiddy pounds.

I'd probably just leave the hoses in, so when I do sell it to Tomasz, he can re-install the AC. He hasn't mentioned, but he's looking for a 911.
Plus, I'm nowhere near the point where I'm counting lbs. in the car. I still need to learn how to go fast.
