Hep me to decide. Folding sport seats or fixed-back seats for the 944?

The folding seats:
+ More comfy for everyday driving.
+ Access to the rear "seat" for kids & packages.
+ Consistent with the street modified DE-car plan.
+ Valuable to a future buyer who may just want a street car.
(-) Not as safe as a fixed back seat.
(-) Less lateral support at the limits.
(-) May not support HANS (still researching).
(-) Wouldn't suffice for racing.
What's pushing me to the foldy seats is that I really can't see turning my car into a full-on track car (e.g. stripped, caged), and I really just want lateral support with a harness setup for DE and TT usage. When I am ready to move to racing, I'll buy Jim's car!
Input much appreciated.

depending on the rollbar setup, you can set something up for a seat brace for track use that you can take out for street use.

my buddy's garage in Yorktown VA, that I still need to sell. Let me know if they would match what you're look'n for...

Had I done with the SRDs, I would still have access to the back seat. Now, with the roll bar and fixed-back seats, I can just get my helmet, gloves and shoes back there.

safety requirements. Personally, I'd go with fixed back but you seem to want to keep it very steetable.
Another option, get fixed back and then swap out seats for track events and keep stock seats for street use. Yes a lot of seat changing but it will be the best of both worlds.
