Default How is the extended warranty that Tischer (Mile One) offers?

Thinking of something for the allroad. I normally forgo extended warranties but the complexity of an allroad has me thinking. I know they wouldn't sell them if they didn't make any money- any feedback/advice appreciated.

TIA Bob

Default I have a continental warranty and it is terrible. As for the mile one warranty.

I know and have been to the home of the gentleman that owns Mileone. That gives me a piece of mind so that I could talk to him if I had a problem. I have a lot of customers that have purchased it and used it(including a fresh 996 engine). So i can attest to it working just fine. If i had to buy an aftermarket warranty it would be from mile one.

Default They seem to cover most of the major components...........

but as usual the wear items are excluded. Belts, brakes, CV boots etc. A lot of our customers tend to buy them with the car purchase or just before warranty runs out. I know a ton of 2.7t allroad guys/gals that lucked out having them with the Torque Converter issue. If nothing else they cover all 8 control arms and the air springs, pricey $$$. The most prevalent downside is that often the repair has to be verified by an inspector and that can take up to 48 hours after the initial diagnosis, longer if on Friday. Feel free to talk to your service advisor about the details, I think our finance department handles them.

Default TJ: Boss wants to know est. price for a Boxter S, but dealer won't tell w/out name, address, etc.

Any ballpark figure I can tell him. I'll send him your way if he's interested...for a finders fee. :P
