in va beach you pay for the sticker but don't have to put one in the window (thank god)
not sure how the other areas are though. I think it's kinda ridiculous personally, but what have ya.. damn state and its taxes

VB here too. Depends on the county/city. Some have...
...arrangements with DMV to collect the fee on registration renewal and some don't. Most that arrange the fees don't require stickers on the window.

yup, iirc norfolk and chesapeake still have the stickers...
we are the lucky ones that don't get a sticker, but still have to pay for it... bastages! I swear they'd tax you on the lint in your pocket if they get the chance!
