i need a good shop for changing the front axle...any recommendations?

i'd do it myself but i don't have the tools for the job.

Ed.. I use Jim's old mechanic in alexandria and have had great luck.....

And actually, I need to have some work done, too. Give me a call to discuss when you have a chance..

how far are you from fairfax?

That shop that I used to swap engines in the Accord was very good. If you don't mind a bunch of azns working on your car...I'd recommend them! :-P It was an exxon station on Lee Highway, right by the train station. Can't remember the cross street...but I'd recognize it if you mentioned a few streets in fairfax that have a train station.
