Im looking for a reliable tire shop in columbia md...who's got some good ideas

Default Im looking for a reliable tire shop in columbia md...who's got some good ideas

I went to the NTB in the area and they wanted $188 bucks to mount and balance 18inch tires

I thought that to be kind of a rip off

correct me if im wrong here

Default induktion recommends some place in ellicot city but i don't know what they

do exactly. i know they do alignments

Default Yeah Ed said something about that to me as well...maybe he will chime in

almost 200 bucks to mount/balance tires is out of control

Default Firestone by my house wanted $46 to dismount my tires on my 18's

i said that was ridiculous and he said, "ok, $26 each" i hung up.

really just to take them off...garbage

See I need to find a place that isnt a chain location. I mean jeez 20 a tire is expensive to me but i could justify that much

may want to try mr. tire; likely to discount if wheels are not mounted on car

Default It's very easy to damage wheels when changing tires. When they do damage them, they need to pay big

If it were an easy profit center, there would be more general mechanics operating tire machines.

Default I take my car to Craven Tire & Auto

They take care of my wheels very well. Tipping the techs always helps too.
