Default do a google search for savage mill shops in maryland...

not sure if it is there anymore, but there was a store in there where ed and i got all our monaco grand prix prints and other stuff. i forget the name of the store, but they had alot of die cast models as well as other great stuff.

if ed remembers, he can chime in.

Default Anything in particular you're looking for?

I have a *little* experience with acquiring toy cars.

Default 1:18 and 1:12 is more common, which models are you looking for...

You can sometimes find 1:18 for $10 at Costco... everywhere else will be $25+, 1:12 are mre expensive, probably 50+

Default Nothing specific. Kids are car nuts and have a decent, but cheap, collection of 1:18s...

.... started. Nothing exotic. Just Ertl, Burago, and stuff like that.

They're into street cars (not rods or race). One of the boys is a VW bus freak.

Default CostCo actually just got some shipments in...

I recall seeing Lambos, BMWs and some muscle cars. all 1:18

There use to be a place down in old town alex that specialized in car collectible stuff.

Default yup, I just saw them the other day. I saw lots of stuff but no Audis.

there were some old mustangs and corvettes, Nissan Z, Lambo, Viper, 1940s Ford, Mercedes SLR, etc.

Default Can't remember the name but it looks like they are no longer in business..

There was one in Columbia Mall but that one closed shop and I was able to pick-up a few Audi 1:18 at a really good price.

Costco in Beltsville have a few selection last week.

If you want F1 cars, speedgear.com is where I get mine.<ul><li><a href="http://www.savagemill.com/directory.html">Savage Mill</a></li></ul>
