On another topic, I just got a Sony Ericsson T616 bluetooth phone (I crushed my old one skiing). I'm able to sync with my PC using bluetooth but I'm not sure how I wanna connect it in my car. I'd like to keep the build-in hand-free mic and sound through the stereo. Should I get a bluetooth adapter or a regular one?

what kind of phone did you have? I am actually going to get a bluetooth HBH-30 unit for my MB in Taiwan since the handsfree law is strickly enforced.
the problem with my Sony Ericsson 610 is that sometimes the bluetooth connection will fail. Sounds to me like a good excuse to get a new phone though... P900, yeah, that should do it.

Bluetooth car kits may be $$$ depending on where you buy it. also quality varies widely. I suggest dont some research before buying one.
If money and ease of setup is important, go wired (regular).

Yes, it's cheaper but also I realized that the only time I ever charge my phone is in the car. If I used the bluetooth adapter I'd have to remember to charge the phone at home and that's too much of a PITA. Hopefully I can swap out my old Nokia kit for this one without much trouble.

I spent a lot of time last couple of days connected to my PC via a Dlink USB bluetooth adapter downloading ringtones, games, etc. It works great with the Dlink software, but the Sony Ericsson software that comes with the phone doesn't work. Most of the time it can't find the phone at all. Must be some sorta compatibility problem...
The one thing that did fail was the battery. I charged it overnight and it worked about 2 hours and then the phone went completely dead. It wouldn't turn on even with the power adapter connected. The dealer replaced the battery and all it well so far. They said that the way the phone is designed it won't even turn on if the battery is defective... Weird...
