Go for it! I was impressed by that car when I rented it for a couple of days.

Default Not as reliable as a pimped out mid-90's Tercel... but it looks and drives alot nicer though.

That's what DIY and warranty is there for.

Default Very true - but I'm sure a "car payment" is involved with the Rabbit as well. Not so sure w/ the

Tercel.

2nd, if just a commuter you seek, get a decent used Honda/Toyota etc thats reliable w/good mpg.
