Default Lost my wedding ring in the Atlantic ocean during vacation this week. Does that mean i'm single?

Stupid. Day 5/5 in the water and i decided to wear my ring for some reason.

I told some guy with a metal detector that i was missing it and the morning we left he was out there for hours walking around. Pretty sure my ring is at a pawn shop by now...

Default I got lucky, I got mine back after I lost it camping on Assateague

we were cooking hot dogs in the campfire, I got hot dog juice on my hands, I went to wipe it with a paper napkin and tossed the napkin into the fire. Little did I know the juice was just enough lubrication to slide my ring into the napkin. Once I noticed it was gone and after the fire died I spent hours sifting through the ashes and sand and couldn't find it. Finally, we found a group of treasure hunters with metal detectors and brought them to our campsite. It took them 20 seconds to find the ring.

Default Doh! Sorry to hear (right?).

I've been considering getting another "beater" ring, so if I lose it, no biggie.

It'll match my wife's CZ engagement ring. P

Default A friend of mine lost his water skiing a couple years ago. He was tossing it to me from the water..

bad toss, and it bounced off the glass on the boat and went in. I jumped for it, but realized mid-air, that it was a horrible idea and I'd never catch it. Thank goodness it wasn't my fault that it went in the drink. I don't think that it will be recovered in the next thousand years. Sucks man.
