having my nephew for the weekend just delayed the install time. But the show was fun and really enjoyed the monster truck jam that night. Got to train them young. ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
BTW, which bikes caught you eye?

that's too cute you were running him around to the shows this weekend. The monster truck show just cracks me up!
I don't know enough about bikes yet to be a bike snob, so I love the looks of a lot of them and sat on several to see how well I fit. The 1098 of course is a beautiful bike, and it was the most comfortable one I sat on. I was told by an avid biker though that after a couple hrs of riding it isn't so great, and that Duc's are over-hyped and over-priced. I'm taking everything I hear with a grain of salt though since everyone has their own opinion. I still am in love with the R1 and R6 as I've always been, and the Hayabusa is a pretty muscular looking machine. Had some creepy black dude tell me I looked good on it....I ran away quickly.
Still not a good time for me to buy though, nor would I buy new for my first bike.

choppers. When I was talking to one of the BMW reps about the new G series and Dakar, he got asked what was his favorite bike so he breaks out his camera to show the guy a picture of gold futuristic chopper (victory?) and try find the name of it. The poor rep just looked at me, I said he's my nephew and we both laughed about it.
Yes the Ducatis are nice but pricey. People that I know who've had them have had issues, but then any italian motorize item has issues and comfort was one. For less money anything japanese will be better. And for distance riding BMW is the best option, imo.
