Default so you're saying

it wasn't a positive experience?

i'll ask USAA about that, too.

Default put it this way....

I now have this involuntary twitch that whenever I pass by their shop, my middle finger pops up and I get an acute tourettes seizure.

So I guess you could say it was less than positive.

Default well.. I gave them two tries

The second one was because they messed up the body work and the paint the first time. And funny, how since it was warranty of the first time, they charged USAA even MORE for the redo.

Brought the car to the guy I should have in the first place. He looked at their invoices, pointed out things they they said they did, but didn't (like remove and replace rear quarter glass and trim), as well as parts that they charged the insurance for that they didn't buy (like the stone guard film on the rear quarter that they painted over, as well as door insulation they reused.)

And then when I pointed out that they forgot to put the sound deadening material in the new door (yes, they messed the original up enough that they had to get a new door) and it sounds like a tin can, they looked at me like I was speaking in ancient Greek or something.

Default Wait a sec. Since when won't USAA work 100% with Wagonwork?

I had some major work done there a few years back and USAA covered it 100% with no issues.

Default well... USAA will cover it, but...

it's like finding a doctor. If the shop is on their "preferred" list, then the work is guaranteed. But if you take it to someone not on the list, they'll pay for it, but if a year down the road the paint starts to peel or anything else, you're stuck. Then its between you and the shop.
