Default Need tire advice...What is comparable to the Yokohama avid H4's..all season high performance
not tracking car, just good sticky all year tires with stiff side wall.

yup. nero MS or Toyo proxes 4. Both are great high performance AS tires.

Personally, I've used the Sumitomo HTR+ All seasons and like them. ~$100 each for 225/45-17

Default They're ok for the price range. Long lasting and quiet, but very soft sidewalls
and they tend to vibrate as they wear more.

Default check out the kumho asx...
my dad hasn't put a whole lot of miles on his set, so I can't really comment on long-term characteristics unfortunately, but he seems to like them so far.
